Accessibility statement

Last updated : 15 October 2026

This English version is provided for information only. The Dutch version is the authoritative text. Toegankelijkheidsverklaring

In short

  • We want studio information and booking paths to work for as many people as possible.
  • We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA where reasonable; full conformance is not yet claimed.
  • Report issues via contact; we aim to reply within 2 business days.
  • Physical studio access: tram 13, no lift in the building — see about us.

1. Scope

This statement applies to the website https://mushyvanta.digital operated by Mushyvanta B.V. (Mushyvanta), a recording studio at Bellamystraat 47, 1053 BL Amsterdam. It describes digital accessibility measures, known gaps and how to give feedback. For bookings and rates see services, FAQ and terms and conditions.

European accessibility rules increasingly apply to commercial online services; we align our maintenance with that direction.

2. Target standard

We aim for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA where reasonably achievable for a small static studio site. That includes text alternatives for images, sufficient contrast, keyboard use, visible focus, logical headings and respect for prefers-reduced-motion in our stylesheet.

We test periodically with keyboard, 200% zoom and automated tools; we have not yet commissioned a full third-party audit.

3. What works well

  • One main landmark per page and a skip link to content.
  • Form labels linked to fields on contact; required fields and a privacy checkbox.
  • Language attributes per page (Dutch and English) and hreflang links between translations.
  • Cookie banner operable by keyboard without hover-only actions.
  • No autoplay audio or flashing marketing animations.

4. Known limitations

We are working on the items below; priority depends on impact and feasibility:

  • Some decorative background contrasts may fall slightly below AA on certain displays; we adjust colours incrementally.
  • The OpenStreetMap link opens an external site with its own accessibility; we do not control that interface.
  • English pages are informative; legal nuance is primarily in Dutch (privacy policy, cookie policy).
  • Occasional email attachments may not meet PDF/UA without separate editing.

Marketing audio on the site is minimal; we provide alt text for images from our specification rather than transcripts of every marketing sentence.

5. Physical studio access

Tram 13 stop Bellamyplein (5-minute walk). Bus 22 stop Bilderdijkstraat. From Amsterdam Centraal about 15 minutes on tram 13 towards Amsterdam Sloterdijk. The building has no lift; ask in advance about stairs if mobility matters. Tuesday–Saturday 10:00–22:00; closed Monday and Sunday. Evening sessions by appointment. For adjustments during a session (breaks, seating, lighting), talk to our engineer via contact.

6. Feedback and enforcement

If you hit an accessibility barrier on the site, email [email protected] or use contact with the page URL and a short description. We acknowledge receipt and aim for a substantive reply within 2 business days, with a fix or timeline.

If we cannot resolve the issue, you may use supervisory or dispute routes allowed by law. Consumers keep rights under article 16 of the terms.

7. Maintenance and date

This statement was prepared on 15 October 2026 and last reviewed on 15 October 2026. We update it after substantial site changes. Related pages: legal notice, privacy policy, disclaimer.
